Advisory Neighborhood Commission 8B, which currently represents the Garfield Heights, Hillsdale, Knox Hill/Buena Vista, Skyland, and Woodland neighborhoods, has changed many times since its establishment in 1976. Some areas represented by the first ANC are now served by neighboring ANCs, though ANC 8B is still the hub of its community.
